Web 2.0 Geoblog of Citizens - Prototype for demonstration

The Geoblog of Citizens  is an advanced Web GIS 2.0 Application which allows you to collect reports from local users, without registration in its current version. It, with demonstration purposes, experiments with great effectiveness  the opportunity to acquire by the citizens thematic reports, and managing them with accessible GIS spatial features. 

The  Geoblog of Citizens is a lightweight but sophisticated Google Maps Mash Up, programmed entirely with open source tools (MySql, Php, JavaScript, Ajax) and a sleek interface based on  JQuery and JQuery UI libraries. Each territorial report can be associated with a topic category (Environment and Territory, Public Administration, Economic Activity, Work and Employment, Safety, etc..) and supplemented with a description, picture attachments and Google Street View functionalities (where available).Focused on the Province of Bologna (Italy) in its demo version, it can be extended/re-adapted to any territorial context and integrated into any wider web application.
